When will I receive my Holiday Custom bottle?

Holiday Custom Bourbon Blends will begin to ship out the first week of December, 2023.

Are people under age 21 allowed in the Distillery?

We are happy to welcome guests of all ages, but of course only those who are at least age 21 and older will be allowed to sample our adult beverages. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

Do I need a reservation to take a tour?

Reservations are highly recommended to guarantee your spot. Please book your experience in advance to secure your preferred date and time at J. Mattingly 1845 Distillery.

Experiences are typically offered daily Monday – Saturday from 8:30 am – 5 pm. We may occasionally be entirely booked up or temporarily closed for private events, so please check our calendar for tour availability.

How many people can fit on a tour or tasting experiene?

We find that smaller groups of around 6 people tend to enjoy the tour and tastings the most. With that said, we can accommodate groups of up to 35 people at a time.

Are dogs allowed on site?

We welcome service animals only at our distillery. While we love our four-legged friends, we do ask you to bring only service animals inside our building for health and safety reasons.

Is J. Mattingly 1845 ADA-accessible?

Yes, J. Mattingly 1845 welcomes guests with mobility concerns. The gift shop, tasting areas, and J. Mattingly 1845 Bourbon Blending Experience are accessible by wheelchair, and we have ramps in place to assist those with mobility issues with steps. Because we are a working distillery, not all areas of our production facility are accessible to non-employees regardless of mobility.

Is there Uber/Lyft/Taxi service? 

Ride sharing and taxi options may often be limited or not always available during our operating hours. We recommend hiring a car service or using a tour bus company if you do not want to drive to and from our Distillery.

Do you serve cocktails on site?

Not yet, but we are in the process of acquiring a license to serve cocktails and other beverages by the drink.

Is there food available on site? 

We do not have a food options on site, but there are several restaurants near us we are happy to recommend to you.
